CLAY Student Leadership is a program designed to positively transform the lives of students and parents in at-risk communities through holistic and relevant leadership training.

Six-Year
Curriculum

A six-year curriculum designed to provide leadership and life-skills training skills for students and their families from 7th-12th grade.

R3 Accelerated Curriculum

Targeted toward students most at-risk of dropping-out, the R3 accelerated curriculum restores students’ drive to live, succeed and fulfill their life purpose.

Six-Year Curriculum

CLAY Student Leadership Six-Year Curriculum provides leadership and life-skills training for students and their families from 3rd grade and on. Each courses helps students identify, learn and apply leadership values.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
As part of the program students:

• Share thoughts and feelings in each class
• Learn to process information that will assist them in making positive life decisions
• Recapture their dreams and goals
• Leave with a new outlook towards life, parents, teachers, and themselves
• Move from dependance to independence

BI-WEEKLY CLASSES

Students meet bi-weekly to learn a leadership value that serves as a foundation for healthy decision-making

CONSISTENT MENTORSHIP

Trained course facilitators offer consistent mentorship through a leadership life-model dedicated to reaching and caring for each student

THE UNCHANGEABLE TRUTH

A fundamental principle that must be applied in order for each leadership value to have significance

MUSIC

Incorporated into each presentation as a universal language to affirm each leadership value taught

JOURNEY

Students reflect on what they have learned, set practical action-steps and express where they are in life

ACTION STEPS

Students determine action steps to apply each leadership value

PARENT UNIVERSITY

Leadership-training seminars and team-building activities designed to engage parents with their child as well as with the school administration

R3 Accelerated Curriculum

The R3 Curriculum is a six-week program developed for students most at-risk of dropping-out of school, CLAY Student Leadership’s R3 accelerated curriculum restores students’ drive to live, succeed and fulfill their life purpose. R3 positions students as leaders who take responsibility for their actions and positively contribute to their communities.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
The R3 accelerated curriculum is based on the following three principles and objectives:

• Reach: Reach students where they are in life
• Reason: Shift students’ decision-making paradigm from emotion-driven decisions to reason-based decision-making
• Release: Release students to their communities as transformed leaders and agents of change

WEEKLY CLASSES

Students meet weekly for six weeks, each week to learn a leadership value that serves as a foundation for healthy decision-making

CONSISTENT MENTORSHIP
